Second industrial revolution thesis

History
1 answer:
Artist 52 [7]3 years ago

The second Industrial Revolution is based on the thesis that industrialization is just one part of a larger process. This process entails modernization during which the culture changes its values, order and even government, which in turn promotes further change. Similar arguments in favor of the Second Industrial Revolution might be found in David Landes´ "The Unbound Prometheus".

Which example shows an advantages of owning a car
solmaris [256]

The sentence showing advantages of owning a car over leasing one is: "No restrictions on the number of miles to drive and  the ability to customize, or make changes to the car."

When you lease a car, the car is someone else's property (a company's or a person's). This means that you have to give it back in the exact same condition it was when you started using it. You may also have signed a contract with the owner setting a limit on the distance you are allowed to travel with it.

However, when the car is your own property, you can drive as much as you like and you are free to change its aspect or some of its pieces.

what is the difference between the belief of thomas hobbes and john locke? what is the social contract theory? how is this relat
Anika [276]
To sum it up, Thomas Hobbes believed without an absolute monarch, life would be "nasty, brutish, and short". John Locke believed that if a ruler was tyrannical, the people had the right to revolt against him/her. Social contract theory is a theory that a person's moral and political obligations are bound by a 'contract' that forms the society. Idk how this is related to the First Amendment, I'm not American
