If you find a new planet named super planet .what are the challenges that you will face to live on it?how will you find out the
krok68 [10]

Answer and Explanation:

The challenges that could be encountered on this planet are related to the possibility of human beings being able to live on it with all the elements necessary for their survival. Thus, the challenges would be related to the planet's atmosphere, temperature, air and water quality and soil fertility for agriculture.

To overcome these challenges it would be necessary to establish a deep and well-formulated scientific research, able to recognize whether these factors exist on the planet, making life possible.

The rules for living on this planet would be very simple, but they would promote a society that does not pollute and degrade the planet as it was done with the earth. The rules would have serious impositions for those who disobeyed them, preventing the planet from being degraded.

How does the author of "Solar-Powered Public Buildings? Not So Fast, California!" support the claim that an increase in solar po
levacccp [35]

Hello. You forgot to enter the answer options. The options are:

ineffective, because the author relies only on personal opinions rather than facts to point out problems with solar power . ineffective, because the author supports the opposing viewpoint by introducing the idea that solar power is popular . effective, because the author reveals the significant costs of readying California’s public buildings to run on solar power  effective, because the author shows that less than half of California’s energy supply comes from solar power.

Answer:

effective, because the author reveals the significant costs of readying California’s public buildings to run on solar power

Explanation:

The author of the text presents evidence on how the use of solar energy is expensive, which often makes it difficult to use this type of energy in buildings, especially public predictions. This could be a problem in California, where the demand for solar energy is high and there are many advocates who advocate the use of this energy without taking into account the expenses to maintain an uninterrupted supply of it.

Read the sentence.
kati45 [8]

Adverbs modify (describe) verbs or other adverbs and often end in -ly.  You need to locate the verb to determine at least one of the adverbs (the action of the sentence.)  This is a complex sentence because it has an independent clause (it was not exactly what he had in mind) and a subordinate clause (when he agreed to do the task).  If you just look at the independent clause, or the one that can stand by itself, you will find the verb 'was'.  Ask yourself 'was what'.  The answer is not, which means it is the adverb.  To find the adverb describing it, we again ask, 'not what'.  The answer is exactly.  So the answer is A.
