A\ =\ P_oe^{rt}]

This is just an arithmetic problem, albeit one that you need to do on your calculator. *[tex \LARGE P_o\ =\ 300], *[tex \LARGE e] is the base of the natural logs, so raising *[tex \LARGE e] to a power on the built-in Windows or Mac calculators is the inverse of taking the natural log, *[tex \LARGE r\ =\ 0.07], and *[tex \LARGE t\ =\ 4]

7% of 300 = 21
7% of 321 = 22.47
7% of 343.47 = 24.04
7% of 367.51 = 25.72
$393.23 (or somewhere close to it, since I rounded it every time)

If the hypotenuse of a right triangle is 2 sqrt 3 units long and one legs is sqrt 3 units long, how long is the other leg?
allochka39001 [22]
Theorem of Pythagoras: a²+b²=c², where a, b is legs and c is hypotenuse.

We've got one leg known, let it be a=sqrt 3,
and the hypotenuse - c=2sqrt3

Putting these into the theorem, we get an equation: (sqrt3)²+b²=(2sqrt3)² . Solving it, we get:

3+b²=4*3
3+b²=12
b²=9

This equation has two possible roots: b=3 and b=-3. Since this is a triangle, there can't be a side with a negative value => b=3.

The answer is a. 3

2) An $80 text book was on sale for $49.60 at the used book store. By
nadya68 [22]

Answer:

38%

Step-by-step explanation:

Original price = $ 80

Price after reduction = $ 49.60

Reduction = 80 - 49.60  = $30.40

Percentage of decrease = \frac{reduction price}{original price}*100

                                         = \frac{30.40}{80}*100\\\\=\frac{3040}{80}

                                          =  38%
