\textsf{B.) Matthew too will attend Carlton College in the fall.}

This sentence gives no reason to add any commas what so ever. This would be a straight forward run-on sentence that would need no clause, pauses or anything that would break this sentence down any more. Option B would give clear and straight forward information. The first option broke this sentence down as we can see, and as for this, this would not be the proper way of expressing this sentence. Therefore, your last option would then be your answer.

System of social classes arose in india with the arrival of the
kari74 [83]
The system of social classes arose in India with the arrival of the Aryans. The term 'Aryan' was derived from a Sanskrit word which means 'noble'. Thus, they referred to themselves as those belonging to the more superior race. They were fair-skinned as they came from the northern region. They took control of the region, disregarding the culture of the natives. The social classes were the Kshatriyas or warriors, Brahmans or priests, Vaishyas or farmers and craftsmen, and the Sudra Varnas or the simple workers in the society. They was a struggle for power between the Kshatriyas and the Brahmans, but in the end, the Brahmans became the powerful leaders of the society they built.

All of the following are reasons why people wanted the U.S. government to acquire Hawaii EXCEPT which one?
kari74 [83]

The correct answer is: B) Many Americans knew it would be an ideal place to vacation.

Most Americans wanted the U.S. government to acquire Hawaii because of the sugar plantations that were on it (meaning they could buy cheaper sugar) and because it was a great place to refuel ships and have naval bases. Christians wanted the islands so they could build churches and convert people to Christianity.
