Answer: Tissue

Explanation:

The basic structural and functional unit of life is cell. It is the smallest functional unit inside the body.

A number of cells aggregate together to form tissues that function together is known as tissues.

It lies at the second level when it comes to level of organization in a living organism.

A group of tissue work together to make the organ functional. Example: The adipocytes are the cells that combine to form adipose tissue.

An aggregation of cells and extracellular materials which perform a discrete function is known as tissues.

<h3>Further explanation </h3>

Tissues are groups of cells that have a similar structure and act together to perform a specific function. Body tissue makes up organs and other body parts. There are four types of animal tissue and three types of plant tissue, as follow:

Type of animal tissue

  1. Connective tissue, this tissue is to connect or separates groups of other tissue. Connective tissue allows oxygen to diffuse from blood vessels into cells.
  2. Muscle, this muscle gives rise to muscles' ability to contract. There are three types of muscle tissue: skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle, and smooth muscle .
  3. Nervous tissue is found in the nervous system, such as the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. It is made up of neurons.
  4. Epithelial covers the surfaces of organs including the skin, the trachea, the reproductive tract, and the digestive tract’s inner lining.  The roles of this tissue are absorbing water and nutrients, getting rid of waste, and secreting enzymes or hormones .

<u>Type of plant tissue</u>

  1. Vascular tissues has a role to transport substances throughout the different parts of the plant.
  2. Ground tissue.  There are three types of ground tissue: parenchyma, collenchyma, and sclerenchyma.
  3. Epidermal guards the plant against water loss. It absorbs water and nutrients from the soil.

Which organization controls most of the worlds oil production?
natka813 [3]

Answer: <u>Option A, OPEC </u>

Explanation: Around 80 percent of oil production was accounted by OPEC in the year 2018. It is an organization of fifteen countries, which contain majority of oil reserves. Mainly the oil comes from the middle-eastern countries; namely Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, Qatar, etc.

United Nations and European Union hold very minute share in world's oil production. Exxon's share is also less than ten percent.

What kind of rocks characterize the oldest Mesozoic orogeny
Bad White [126]

In late Paleozoic and much of the Mesozoic era the region was affected by a series of orogenies (mountain-building events) that deformed western North America and caused a great deal of uplift. Eruptions from volcanic mountain ranges to the west buried vast regions beneath ashy debris.

Why do you think that clouds and water vapor act like insulators from the sun
7nadin3 [17]

Answer:

Water vapor is a green house gas which absorbs the heat radiated from the earth's surface and keeps the earth warm. Clouds are formed by the condensation of water vapor in the atmosphere. They shield the earth from the sun by reflecting or scattering the solar energy and also trap the heat from the earth's surface. Thus both clouds and water vapor act like insulators from the sun and warms the planet.

Explanation:

When the earth’s surface get heated by the sunlight, some of the heat radiates back into the atmosphere and most of this heat is absorbed by gases in the atmosphere called green house gases. This process is called greenhouse effect, which keeps the earth warm.  The green house gases mainly consists of carbon dioxide and water vapor.

Water vapor is formed through a process called evaporation. In this process, water from the ocean, rivers, and lakes evaporates to become water vapor using the energy from the sun. Water vapor also moves into the atmosphere by transpiration (plants) and sublimation (snow and ice).

The water vapor cools down and transforms into water droplets by a process called condensation, as it rises high in the atmosphere where the air is cooler. This water droplets that formed by condensation make up clouds. Low, thick cumulus clouds reflect majority of the solar energy straight back into space and thus cool the earth. High, thin cirrus clouds scatter the solar energy within the atmosphere and also trap the heat emitted by earth, thus warming the planet. Thus both clouds and water vapor act like insulators from the sun and warms the planet.
