I think they would win because they were determined. Of course, they had their doubts when they didn't have certain things they needed at some points, such as uniforms, food, shelter. They had General Washington to keep them going and he trained them to be proper soldiers. Also, some of them, such as John Adams, never stopped trying to get Independence. Adams tried as hard as he could to get the rest of the Constitutional Congress to agree to even discuss the topic of independence. America had a goal, and when you set a goal you do anything in your power to achieve the goal. That is exactly what America did. That is why I think the Patriots would win the war for Independence.
