Answer:

Although you have not put the answer options, we can say that the correct answer is: Rhyming

Explanation:

We can see that in Singing, referenced in the question above, there is a repetition of the same or very similar sounds in some words. This creates a rhythm and a certain musicality when reading.

This is a literary technique widely used in poems and music and is called Rhyme.

In that case we can say that the correct answer to your question is "Rhyming".

The social problem in Ireland Swift addresses in "A Modest Proposal" is _____.
LiRa [457]

The correct answer is: B. too many Irish living in poverty.

In his recognized essay, A Modest Proposal, Swift tackles the terrible social problem that Ireland was suffering: poverty and, with it, the heavy prejudice against poor people that social inequality had generated. Using a rather unusual approach to shock the audience (suggesting that poor parents should sell their kids in the meat market or even eat them), he engages the subject head-on.

why might Sonnet 18 by Francesco Petrarcha be interpeted as a poem about defeat as much as a peom about love? use specific examp
MatroZZZ [7]

Petrarch's Sonnet 18 is about Laura, her beauty and Petrarch's incapability to describe her beauty in a proper way.

His love for her is related in this sonnet. He is continually praising her beauty

"When first I saw thee I recall the time,

Pleasing as none shall ever please again."

"...Full oft I oped my lips to chant thy name..."

It is also a poem about defeat. He uses repeatedly negative words and phrases to state clearly that her beauty is impossible for him to describe, "unsung...in my rhyme". He hasn't got any possibilities to make a proper description of her beauty, nor to describe her brightness.

"But ah, the pen, the hand, the vein I boast,

At once were vanquish'd by the mighty theme!

He uses negative words and phrases to strengthen the idea of his inability to make a suitable portrayal of her because her beauty is such that it exceeds his chance to describe it. He hasn't got the strength nor the genius.

Read the excerpt.
Paul [167]

Some people remain young forever.

The excerpt describes the swan as not aging at heart. It describes them as still being able to "wander where they will". While we know that everything ages physically, the author is showing how not everything about a person, or swan, must age. It's important here to eliminate options. The passage does not say anything about growing old, aging or changing. It says "hearts have not grown old." Any option that suggests the opposite should be eliminated. This means B-D should be eliminated.
