If you look at the leftmost part of the graphic, it includes a time axis, where the top represents the most recent time and the bottom the earlier times, so just using this axis, we can see that the fossil A is the earliest, or the youngest, because it it the highest one. - This is the correct answer, fossil A.

Additionally, we could look at the periods - our fossil A is from the Jurassic period. we can compare it to the fossil B, which is from Permian period. Indeed, Jurassic is a younger age than Permian (or  Devonian and Cambrian, the ages of C and D) - so this confirms that A is the best answer.

Can you think of any problems that could come from using only 15 years of data to predict trends for the next 100 years? Explain
pentagon [3]

Explanation:

A major problem with using 15 years of data to predict 100 years of data is that the 15 years could have been setting a trend, then level off.

For example, if the 15 years of data was a graph, and it was going up every year, then what if 20 years into the 100 years it stops going up? Then that means the data was invalid because there wasn't enough to base any trends off of.

You can prevent this from happening by extending the collection time of data and to reduce the amount of time that the data will be used to predict.

Hope this helps!
