Answer:

• Diversify the workplace

• Use creativity- and mind-stimulating games

• Use (a) flexible workplace(s)

Explanation:

1. Diversify the workplace

Employees consisting of different types of people, in terms of age, social status, race, gender and ethnicity, can help boost creativity in the workplace. Different backgrounds and experiences from the members will allow for different ideas to flow among the team. Differences will also make the team appreciate each other and make the entire team versatile.

2. Use creativity- and mind-stimulating games

Games that are open ended and not structured can help boost creativity. Each participant will have a different response which will allow more development and inventive ideas. Research can be done through guessing games that stimulate the mind or artistic games such as acting scenes, etc.

3. Use (a) flexible workplace(s)

Office space with air-conditioners and four walls may restrict the amount of creativity and result in the same, dull, exhausted ideas over time. To increase the level of creativity, the team should use different workplaces randomly for a change of scenery. One day spent at a park, the next day could be spent in a laboratory and the next could be spent in a library. Different environments can spark new, fresh ideas that can assist with research and development.

Answer:

Three conditions other than training that this organization should establish to increase the level of creativity in its research and development operations is to:

1. Get new perspectives

2. Create a flexible workplace

3. Provide Incentives for employers

Explanation:

1. Get new perspectives: be open to new ideas, do not reject changes. Ask for a fresh perspective from your employees ans external professional source because that could be the game changer.

2. Create a flexible workplace: Allow your workers to explore remote work as well as regular office work. Try to switch up the work place mechanism a bit then reconvene to brainstorm about the experience.

3. Provide Incentives for employers: A little incentive such as a time out to play, reward for exceptional work and welfare packages every now and then can foster a kindred spirit among colleagues and stimulate creativity.

1. Given this information, the opportunity cost of one computer in France is __________, and the opportunity cost of one compute
Ostrovityanka [42]
I am assuming here that you use the example where in the US the workers can produce 200 computers of 100 cars and the French workers can produce 80 of each.

Then the opportunity cost of one computer in France is higher than in the United States -which means that it's lower in the United States (twice as low)

So, France would have a comparative advantage in producing wine and US in producing computers.

Cash, which is an asset increase for mdebit side while the common stock and additional paid-in are equity accounts. They increase from the credit side.

Krell Industries has a share price of $ 22.77 today. If Krell is expected to pay a dividend of $ 1.09 this year and its stock pr
hoa [83]

Answer:

Dividend yield is 4.79%

Cost of equity is 11.64%

Explanation:

The dividend yield on Krell Industries share price is the dividend of $1.09 divided by the price of the share today of $22.77

dividend yield=$1.09/$22.77=4.79%

The equity cost of capital can be calculated from the share price formula given below by changing the subject of the formula to cost of equity,r.

stock price=Do*(1+g)/r-g

Do is the dividend paid this year of $1.09

g is the dividend growth of dividend which is computed thus:

g=share price at end of the year-share price now/share price now

g=($24.33-$22.77)/$22.77=6.85%

r is the unknown

stock price is $24.33

24.33=1.09*(1+6.85%)/(r-6.85%)

24.33=1.164665 /r-6.85%

r=(1.164665 /24.33)+6.85%

r=11.64%

Juli2301 [7.4K]

Answer: c. $22,000 increase in operating income

Explanation:

Expected decrease in revenues                                       -$280,000

Expected decrease in total variable costs (-$200,000)

Expected decrease in fixed costs (-$102,000)

Expected increase(decrease) in operating income $22,000

Costs are to be deducted from revenues so if the costs are decreasing, the mathematical treatment would be to add the decrease to the revenues which is how the above was calculated.
