Answer:

16 cm long the segment representing the same distance be in the new drawing

Step-by-step explanation:

Proportion states that if two equal ratios or fractions are equal.

As per the statement:

You are recreating a scale drawing at a different scale.

The original scale is 1 cm : 8 m.

Use conversion:

1 m = 100 cm

⇒Original scale = 1 cm : 800 cm

In the original drawing, the length of a segment is 4 centimeters.

then by proportion we have;

\frac{1}{800} = \frac{4}{x}

By cross multiply we have;

x = 3200 cm

Since, the new scale is 1 cm : 2 m.

⇒1 cm : 200 cm

We have to find the segment representing the same distance be in the new drawing

Let y be segment representing the same distance be in the new drawing.

then by definition of proportion:

\frac{1}{200} = \frac{y}{3200}

By cross multiply we have;

3200 = 200y

Divide both sides by 200 we have;

16 = y

or

y = 16 cm

Therefore, 16 cm long the segment representing the same distance be in the new drawing

If the measure of an angle is 27°,find the measure of its supplement.
finlep [7]

Answer:

153°

Step-by-step explanation:

1. If 27° is the supplement of another angle (or vice versa), that means both angles add up to 180.

2. To find the supplement of 27°, we simply subtract that number from 180.

  • 180 - 27
  • 153

Therefore, the supplement of 27° is 153°.

IN URGENT NEED OF HELP. PLEASE HELP.
Firlakuza [10]

Answer:

533 sq. ft.

Step-by-step explanation:

First find the area of the rectangle on the bottom:

22*13=286

Then in your head move the triangle on the right to the other side to create a triangle (if this doesn't make sense tell me in a comment)

It will turn into a rectangle that is 13 by 19 so find the area of that:

13*19=247

Then add the areas together:

286+247=533

Determine value of a
S_A_V [24]

For this case we have that by definition of trigonometric relations that the sine of an angle is equal to the opposite leg to the angle on the hypotenuse. That is to say:

Sin (43) = \frac {a} {26}

Clearing the value of "a":

a = 26 * sin (43)\\a = 26 * 0.68199836\\a = 17.73195736

Rounding off we have:

17.7
