Popularly nicknamed "The Desert Fox", he did his service in Wehrmacht, Germany, he served the nazi. He stood out for his courageous actions alone or in front of some section. The Führer assigned him the command of the 7th Panzer Division, which stood out under his command to the point of being called “the Phantom Division”, due to its quick and effective operation.
