1. Harlem New York has a lot of popular jazz artists because of the cotton club
2. The blues derived from Jazz, it began as far back as slavery . Billie holiday is one iconic example for when jazz grew, they would talk a lot about religion, death, and suffering

4. Woman were huge entertainers mixed with Jazz music, especially women who danced to jazz known as flappers in the 1920s
