The rock type is most likely formed from the location as a metamorphic rock. A metamorphic rock results in a change of a rock that already exits. This original rock is subjected to very high amounts of heat and pressure, which will show a cause and/or chemical change. Example of these rock types include marble, slate, gneiss, schist. <span />
