I'm not sure what your options are, but the best safety features would be ones suited for earthquakes, particularly violent earthquakes if they are close enough to a transform boundary to be concerned about safety. Things like a reinforced floor (to prevent splitting), wall ties (for large things like cabinets or displays), and other large items bolted to the floor would be helpful, along with a reinforced roof and lots of things to hide under should an earthquake occur. Basically, things that will prevent people from getting crushed or plummeting into a hole if the quake leaves a big enough split in the floor. Also, earthquake survival kits placed in all the shops, etc would be helpful if the quake traps people for any amount of time.
I hope this helps you out with what you were looking for!

To distinguish between properties of the two major types of supernovae: massive star supernovae and white dwarf supernovae. All
Over [174]

Answer: Massive star supernovae

2. Can only occur in a galaxy with ongoing star formation.

3. Black hole or neutron star left behind.

White dwarf supernovae

1. Star explodes completely, leaving no compact object behind.

4. Can only occur in a binary system.

5. Can occur in a very old star cluster.

6. Spectra always lack strong hydrogen lines.

7. Has a brighter peak luminosity.

Explanation:  A supernova is a bright explosion of a star as it dies off. Supernova can occur due to the star losing the heat at its core which eventually makes it collapse. This is the type of supernova formed when massive stars die. They occur in a galaxy with ongoing star formation and a black hole or neutron star left behind.

Supernovae can also be occur when a star orbits another and crashes into another. This is what occurs in a white dwarf . This is part of a binary system,  can occur in a very old star cluster and leaves no compact object behind.

3. Give examples and explain why some types of forest are being cut at faster rates than others types.
Alexeev081 [22]

Answer:

Rubber tree, oak, spruce, pine are some examples of trees that are commonly cut down

Explanation:

The cutting down of trees is commonly known as deforestation. It has become a major issue as a huge number of trees have been cut down in the past years. The trees of tropical forests are mostly affected because of the abundance and variety of trees in this region. These trees include the softwoods and hardwoods. Examples of some softwood trees are spruce, rubber, pine, and fir, whereas, hardwoods include oak, maple, and hemlock. These trees are mostly used to make paper, wooden furniture, palm oil and also shampoos. In addition to this, the trees are also cut down for building houses, grazing of animals, agricultural purposes and used as fire to cook food in remote areas.

The cutting down of trees affects the trees and plant species, and also the fertility of the soil decreases. The organisms existing in this region are also affected due to their loss of habitat.
