Hi there! The answer is x = 8.

2x + 104 = 3x + 96
Subtract 3x from both sides.

- x + 104 = 96
Subtract 104 from both sides.

- x =  - 8
Divide by -1 in order to make the x positive.

x = 8

dlinn [17]

answer:

The rock is more dense.

Explanation:

If you look at the rock cycle, you'll see when sedimentary rock goes under extreme heat and pressure, it becomes metamorphic rock. So the metamorhpic rock is so much more dense that the rock is like a sedimentary times ten! I mention it's more dense because they're is more rock to erode away. Making it much harder to wear away the metamorphic rock.

valkas [14]

Answer:

The correct option is:

1) It was warmer than it is today

Explanation:

Caboniferous period lasted from around 360 to 300 million years ago. The term Carboniferous means rich deposits of coal. The deposits of coals occured in different region of Europe, Asia and Africa, including South China. In the start of the period, the average temperate was 20°C° which was dropped to 12° in the middle of the period. This cooling and drying resulted in Carboniferous rainforest. Hence, the temperature was warmer than it is today.
