You can solve this two ways:
One is by substituting in the numbers until you get 15=15.

6(0)-9=15
0-9=15
-9=15

6(1)-9=15
6-9=15
-3=15

6(2)-9=15
12-9=15
3=15

6(3)-9=15
18-9=15
9=15

6(4)-9=15
24-9=15
15=15
Solution is x=4

or you can find the value of x
by first adding 9 to both sides to get x by itself

6x-9=15
6x=24

Then divide by 6
x=4

Do you wanna order pizza from Little Caesars every week for his coworkers one week he orders for thin crust pizzas in for deep d
meriva

Answer:

The cost of one thin crust pizza is $6.5

The cost of one deep dish pizza is $8

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x= cost of one thin crust pizza

Let y=cost of one deep dish pizza

If Four thin crust pizzas and four deep dish pizzas cost $58

4x+4y=58.............(i)

Six thin crust pizzas and three deep dish pizzas cost $63

6x+3y=63....................(ii)

We solve equations (i) and (ii) simultaneously

4x+4y=58.............(i)

6x+3y=63.............(ii)

To make the coefficeint of y the same, multiply (i) by 3 and (ii) by 4

[4x+4y=58] X 3

12x+12y=174

[6x+3y=63] X 4

24x+12y=252

Eliminating y by subtracting (iv) from (iii)

12x+12y=174............(iii)

24x+12y=252............(iv)

-12x=-78

x=6.5

Substitute x=6.5 into any of the equations, say (iv)

(24X6.5)+12y=252

156+12y=252

12y=252-156=96

y=96/12=8

x=6.5, y=8
