Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Alright lets get started.

Total area of the classroom is 400 square feet

Since the teacher has set up her desk,computer, and podium so the area left for students desk is 250 square feet

Now,if each desk takes 8 square feet space of room,

then number of desks that can be fitted in the classroom =\frac{250}{8} = 31.25

So,number of desks =31.25

Chairs can not be in decimal hence the answer is 31.

Answer 31

Hope it will help.

Ok so
250 left for student desks
250≥8n
n=number of desks
solve
divide both sides by 8
31.25≥n
round down since we cannot have a decimal desk
31 desks

but, the teacher has 1 desk also so add 1
31+1=32

A bank is offering 3.5% simple interest on a savings account. If you deposit
arsen [322]

Answer: $525

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for Simple interest is calculated as PRT where

P = Principal = $7500

R = Rate = 3.5%

T = Time = 2 years

Interest = PRT

= 7500 × 3.5% × 2

= 7500 × 0.035 × 2

= $525

Population mean = 80
alexira [117]

Answer:

The answer is : 0.0597

Step-by-step explanation:

Population mean = μ = 80

Standard deviation = σ = 20

Sample = N = 60

σ_mean = σ/√N

= (20)/√(60) = 2.582

Now we will find z1 and z2.

z1 = {(84) - μ}/σ_mean = {(84)-(80)}/(2.582)= 1.549

z2 = {(88) - μ}/σ_mean = {(88)-(80)}/(2.582)= 3.098

Now probability that the sample mean will be between 84 and 88 is given by:

Prob{ (1.549) ≤ Z≤ (3.098) } = (0.9990) -(0.9393) = 0.0597

Solve the equation for x
Ivahew [28]

Answer:

x = z - m + y

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

\displaystyle \large{z = m+x-y}

To solve for x-term, we have to isolate it. We can do by subtracting m-term both sides and add y-term both sides.

\displaystyle \large{z-m+y=m+x-y-m+y}\\\\\displaystyle \large{z-m+y=x}\\\\\displaystyle \large{x=z-m+y}

Therefore, the answer to this question is x = z - m + y

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding my answer or explanation!
