Through this operant conditioning, the individual associates a good behaviour and a bad one taken into account the type of consecuence they suffer from a determined action. In this case, the dolphin is rewarded after she retrieves the ball. Therefore, the  dolphin knows that the consecuence of that action is positive and will continue to do so.
