Well, this can be different for every religion. I know that in some religions like Muslim, take off their shoes when entering a holy area. Some other examples are when religions wear something to cover their hair (some areas of Judaism, Christianity, and Muslim). They will keep visiting religious monuments like where it first began, going to worship their gods, or keeping a religious book that keeps everything about the religion to keep holy. They will also surround themselves of the same religion to talk and feel more holy
