Which phrases describe air density ? Select three options.
Phantasy [73]

Answer: The correct options are:

exerts more pressure as it increases

measures how tightly molecules are packed

equals mass divided by volume

Explanation:

Air density can be described as mass per unit of volume of the volume of air.

As the altitude increases, the air density tens to decrease. Hence, option A is not correct.

The density of the air determined how many atoms of air can occur in a particular volume, In other words, it determines how tightly or loosely atoms of air are packed in a particular volume.

Hence, when the air density will increase, the molecules will be more tightly packed and the pressure will be more.

Why is the sky blue?
Andrew [12]
Hi!

Our sky is blue because air molecules will span out blue light from our sun more than red light from our sun.

If you look at the sun, you'll see orange and red colours due to the fact that the suns blue light has already been disbursed away from our line of sight.

Hopefully, this helps! =)
