9.2 x 13.8 = 126.96, now usually to get the area of a triangle we would half this but because we have two of the same triangle we would then have to double it again so they cancel each other out. We then do 6.9 x 9.2 which equals 63.48 and again we have two of the same triangle so no need to half it. So we add the two totals of 126.96 and 63.48 together to get 190.44.

Why is the product of a rational number and an irrational number irrational?
tangare [24]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

When you multiply and irrational by a rational, you are doing nothing to change the nature of an irrational number. The two numbers have different kinds of properties and though a multiplication can be indicated, there is no way you can change the properties of an irrational number with a rational.

Their properties just do not mix.

It is like take a solvent and mixing it with something that is not a solvent. You cannot do anything to anything to the insolvent to make it solvent simply by adding more. Their properties remain in tact.

Take 3 * 4√7

The properties of the 3 and 4 remain the same when multiplied and they can be combined. 3*4 = 12

But nothing can be done with √7. The 3 cannot effect it, anymore than what the 4 did.

What standard form polynomial expression represents the area of the triangle? 3g^2-6g+2
vekshin1

Answer:

Area of Rectangle = length times width

lets say length = 2x-4

width = x+5

Note: you can switch these around, width could be 2x-4 and length could be x+5, it doesnt matter.

With that being said:

length * width = area

(2x-4)(x+5)=area
