Perch have paired pectoral and pelvic fins, and two dorsal fins, the first one spiny and the second soft. These two fins can be separate or joined.

I believe it's lipids and carbohydrates, carbohydrates storing energy as glycogen.
The result of non-reproduction is simple.
There will not be another generation of a species. Without a new generation, the parents would die off, and there would be nothing to carry on the name they had both shared.
