In case if you were to use some of those things in a lifetime. Like using math to be a scientist. Or language arts to write a book.

HALPHALPHALPHALPHALPAHLAPHALP Question:
Vitek1552 [10]
Cooking is a skill that you obtain through long days of practicing, for some it comes easy, for others not so much. Back nearly 5000 years ago men sat in caves cooking with sticks and stones and now we evolved and have so much knowledge and so many different ways of preparing food. More goes into it than throwing in a egg and some flour.. There are many actions you have to do as well such as stirring, mixing , and baking. My conclusion being that cooking is difficult .

We can complete the sentences if we know that pronouns substitute nouns, adjectives modify nouns, and adverbs modify verbs and adjectives.

 • I have with me four brave men and women. They have recently returned after scaling dangerous heights. It is rarely easy to show such courage.

What is a pronoun?

A pronoun is a short word used to substitute a noun in a sentence. Pronouns often answer the question "Who?". Examples of pronouns are:

 • I
 • Me
 • Them
 • She
 • It

What is an adjective?

An adjective is a word that modifies a noun, giving it a quality. Examples of adjectives are:

 • Brave
 • Strong
 • Beautiful

What is an adverb?

An adverb is a word that modifies a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. It conveys ideas concerning time, manner, place, etc. Examples of adverbs are:

 • Rarely
 • Recently
 • Slow

Having the information above in mind, we must now complete the sentences provided in the question. After reading them, we can conclude the following:

 • The speaker is talking about people who are with him or her. Since the speaker is talking in the first person, we should use the pronoun "me".
 • We can assume those men and women are "brave" (adjective) since the speaker mentions their courage.
 • The adverbs that sound good in the context are "recently" (time) and "rarely" (frequency).

Thus, the complete sentences are:

 • I have with me four brave men and women. They have recently returned after scaling dangerous heights. It is rarely easy to show such courage.

What twentieth-century progressive reform did the Great Awakening foreshadow and how?
yawa3891 [41]
Perhaps the greatest aspect of the Great Awakening in terms of its foreshadowing of 20th century reforms was that of its stance on abolition (and subsequently the rights of African-Americans) and women's rights. These ideals were spread through America in all walks of life long before mainstream rights for African-Americans were even considered a possibility.
