Unclear winner in Florida with much tension rising since it was left undetermined for awhile. Constant fighting between the two parties and so the Supreme Court had decided to intervene which led to the most controversial supreme court decision in American history.
Franco-German War, also called Franco-Prussian War, (July 19, 1870–May 10, 1871), war in which a coalition of German states led by Prussia defeated France. The war marked the end of French hegemony in continental Europe and resulted in the creation of a unified Germany.
I think that the US did have the right to prevent the spread of communism. Any nation that turned communist (except for Yugoslavia) turned out to be because the Soviets arranged it to threaten the US. For example; the Soviets used Cuba to place missiles in the Americas, and China used Vietnam to threaten NATO outposts in the South China Sea. Any nation that was communist was clearly aligned with the USSR, and determined to threaten the US.
As early as 1613, local clashes occurred between French and English colonists. Eventually, there was organized warfare, the American counterpart of the larger conflict between England and France. Thus, between 1689 and 1697<span>, "King William's War" was fought as the American phase of the European "War of the Palatinate."</span>
