The goal of this equation is to solve for x. So, we can start by combining like terms.
(16x) and (5x) are like terms, so we would subtract (5x) over to the other side.

131 + 16x -5x = -331 + 5x - 5x
131 + 11x = -331

Then, we can combine the other like terms, which would be (131) and (-331). Subtract 131 on both sides.

131 - 131 + 11x = -331 - 131
11x = -462

Now, we need to divide the number before x, or the coefficient.

11x/11 = -462/11
x = -42

Easiest way
As u should add(+) or subtract (-) of like term only
So, we have x like term we get
131+331=5x-16x
As while collecting the like term if there is + sign in front we should - it but of we have - sign we should do +

And ans we get
While adding the 131+331 = 462
And subtracting 5x-16x =-11x
Now we must divide it
462/-11
We get -42
So the value of x is -42

Kobotan [32]

Answer:

En la última fila de la zona general hay 98 asientos y en la zona preferencial hay 564 asientos.

Explicación paso a paso:

= 1 + − 1 ×

40 = 20 + 40 − 1 × 2

40 = 20 + 39 × 2

40 = 20 + 78

40 = 98

=  (1 + )  2 ×

12=  (36 + 58)  2 ×12

12 = 47 × 12

12 = 564

A19 = -58, a21 = -164
Marrrta [24]
I took a19=-58 divide it by 19 both side i get a = -58÷19 (note; you can never have a neg. # on the top bring the neg. down to the bottom and divide) now its 58÷-19= -3.05 or -3 (1÷19) so a = -3(1/19) do the same to the other now. answer is a=-7 (17/21)

1. Find the vertex of the following quadratic equations:<br> a) f(x) = (x – 4)2 + 7
RSB [31]

Answer: It is not possible to find the vertex of the stated equation as it is in the form of f(x) = mx + b, a linear equation.

Step-by-step explanation:

Being in the form f(x) = mx + b, it is not possible to find a vertex due to the fact that there is none. This is because when an equation is written in the linear form it is representing a line not a parabola.

Given a parabola it is possible to find a vertex because in that case there is one.
