Answer:

 • The native Nepalese Sherpas have been residing as a dominant community in relatively high altitudes near the Himalayas for generations now.
 • This has evolved their bodies to make the most efficient use of oxygen available in the thin airs of Himalayas.
 • That being the reason, Sherpas can endure the extremes of high-altitude weather better than most other people.

Explanation:

 • Sherpas have evolved and adapted themselves to the surrounding so finely, that their bodies have learnt to resist the scarcity of oxygen by making the most efficient use of available oxygen.
 • Their bodies have also attuned themselves to preserve and burn calories for a good long time .

marshall27 [118]

Answer:

Africa

Explanation:

Africa by land area, is the second largest continent.

It covers a land area of about 11,608,000 square miles. This is next to Asia in land area, which covers a land area of 17,212,000 square miles.

Based on historical and archaeological evidence, humans have lived in Africa for more than 5 million years. This earned Africa the name "Mother Continent".

The first hominins (primates which can be considered as directly ancestral to humans ) in Africa emerged about 6-7 million years ago, and among the earliest anatomically modern human skulls found so far were discovered at Ethiopia

olga55 [171]

Cambrian period do the Appalachian mountains first start to appear. The Paleozoic Era and the Phanerozoic Eon were both preceded by the Cambrian Period.

An crucial turning point in the evolution of life on Earth occurred during the Cambrian Period, when numerous invertebrate species and the first fish-like vertebrates first appeared in the fossil record. The greatest record of Cambrian animal fossils, including soft-bodied creatures, may be found in the Burgess Shale. The Paleozoic era's Cambrian phase saw the most rapid explosion of evolution ever recorded. A staggering diversity of life, including many of the main animal groupings still extant today, emerged during the Cambrian Explosion. The chordates, which include vertebrates (animals with backbones) like humans, were among them. According to some experts, the appearance of predators was made possible by a slight, possibly transient increase in oxygen that abruptly crossed an ecological threshold. Carnivory's emergence would have sparked an evolutionary arms race that produced the explosion of various body kinds and behaviours that now populate the oceans. The team comes to the conclusion that a scarcity of oxygen and toxic hydrogen sulphide killed off a large number of Cambrian species. It is believed that similar circumstances led to the devastating Permian extinction 251 million years ago. According to Gill, there were multiple instances of fast extinction in the second half of the Cambrian.

isted in question 1, comment on how the sediment is being wind, ice, or gravity). What type of depositional environments deposit
Afina-wow [57]

Answer:

The breaking down of rocks gives rise to the formation of sediments. These materials are transported from one place to another by agents such as wind, water, and ice. The wind carries smaller or finer particles. The water can carry finer to coarser type of materials and ice also carries sediments that are generally coarser in size.

These sediments are generally deposited in the environment such as the deltaic environment, marine and lake environment.

These sediments after getting deposited at a particular place, they are compacted and lithified, and thereby forms a sedimentary rock, which is commonly known as the clastic-sedimentary rocks. These are formed by mechanical processes.
