Check the attached file for the picture of the said angle.

Since DB and DC are angle bisectors, they cut the other angle into two equal parts.

Since DCB is equal to 40 degrees, so we can say that ACB is 80 degrees.

Triangle degrees = BAC degrees + ACB degrees + ABC degrees

180 = 60 (given) + 80 + ABC degrees

40 degrees = ABC

Since DB bisects ABC = 40/20 = 20

Answer would be 20 degrees.

In one town, the number of pounds of sugar consumed per person per year has a mean of 8 pounds and a standard deviation 3 of 20
lesantik [10]

Answer:

c. 1.67 standard deviations above the mean

Step-by-step explanation:

The z-score measures how many standard deviations a score X is from the mean. It is given by the following formula:

Z = \frac{X - \mu}{\sigma}

In which \mu is the mean and \sigma is the standard deviation.

A positive z-score means that X is above the mean, and a negative Z-score means that X i below the mean.

In this problem, we have that:

\mu = 8, \sigma = 3

Tyler consumed 13 pounds of sugar last year How many standard deviations from the mean is that?

This is Z when X = 13. So

Z = \frac{X - \mu}{\sigma}

Z = \frac{13 - 8}{3}

Z = 1.67

So this is 1.67 standard deviations above the mean.

For which function is f(x) equal to f-1(x)?
Andrews [41]
C...to show this, interchange letters: x = (y+1)/(y-1)xy-x = y + 1xy - y) = x + 1y(x-1) = x+1y = (x+1)/(x-1) ⇐ this is f-1(x) and it's identical to f(x).  Note: <span>the equal sign is missing in the definitions of the functions c. & d.</span>

Rob and Mike are selling cookie dough
SpyIntel [72]

The cost of one package of white chocolate chip cookie is $9 while the cost of one package of oatmeal cookie dough is $14.

<h3>What is an equation?</h3>

An equation is an expression used to show the relationship between two or more numbers and variables.

Let x represent the cost of white chocolate chip and y represent the cost of oatmeal dough, hence:

12x + 6y = 192   (1)

Also:

6x + 12y = 222    (2)

From both equations:

x = 9, y = 14

The cost of one package of white chocolate chip cookie is $9 while the cost of one package of oatmeal cookie dough is $14.

What is the converse of the linear pairs theorem
marysya [2.9K]
The converse of a logicalstatement is a s tatement formed by reversing the parts of the statement.

For example, the logical statement "A implies B" has a converse of "B implies A"

The linear pairs theorem states that "<span>if two angles form a linear pair, then they are supplementary".</span>

The converse of the linear pairs theorem is therefore, "if two angles are suplementary, then they form a linear pair".
