Hello!

Since y equals both of them they are equal to each other

-2x + 3 = -x + 6

Add 2x to both sides

3 = x + 6

Subtract 6 from both sides

-3 = x

The answer is -3

Hope this helps!

If why varies with the square of x and Y equals 24 when x equals 10 then the constant of proportionality is ____, and the value
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

y varies with the square of x:

y = kx²

y equals 24 when x equals 10

24 = k·10²

constant of proportionality k = 0.24

when x = 20, y = 0.24·20² = 96

HELPPPPPPPPP 55 POINTS Isabel graphed the following system of equations.
Arturiano [62]

Answer:

1.  Substitute y = -3x +4 for y in the first equation

2.  Combine like terms and isolate x

3.  Substitute in x into the 2nd equation to get y

Step-by-step explanation:

1.  Substitute y = -3x +4 for y in the first equation

2x- (-3x+4) = 6

2.  Combine like terms

5x -4 = 6

5x -4 +4 = 6+4

5x=10  Divide by 5 to isolate x

5x/5 =10/5

x=2

3. Substitute in x into the 2nd equation to get y

y = -3x +4

y = -3(2) +4

y = -6+4

y=-2

(2,-2)
