Answer:

Yes

Step-by-step explanation:

Because her initial purpose is to find the average hand span of the students in her class. If she asks the hand span of each student in the class then she can have many different answers and  it anticipates variability in students' hand spans.

Ex: There are 5 students in her class, she asks 5 of them and their answer is:

0.5m 0.6m 0.7m 0.8m 0.9m

=> the average hand span of the students in her class = (0.5m + 0.6m + 0.7m + 0.8m + 0.9m) / 5 = 0.7 m

Hope it will find you well

I think probably not because everybody has a very different handspan and you probably wouldn't be able to get a very accurate average.

A vcr and tv were bought for 8000 each. The shopkeeper made a loss of 4 per cent on vcr and 8 per cent prophit on the tv. Find t
aleksley [76]

Answer:

  2% gain

Step-by-step explanation:

We assume the shopkeeper bought the appliances at the indicated prices, and that gain is computed on the basis of that cost price.

Since the base cost is the same for each appliance, the percentages can be added directly to find the percentage gain on 8000. However, the shopkeeper's total outlay was 16000, not 8000, so the final gain percentage is half of that total.

  gain percent = (-4% + 8%)/2 = 2%

_____

If you want to see the actual numbers:

  Loss on VCR = 4% × 8000 = 320.

  Gain on TV = 8% × 8000 = 640.

Total gain on 16000 is -320 +640 = 320. As a percentage, that is ...

  320/16000 × 100% = 2%

Question:
pishuonlain [190]
There is no rectangle shown.

To find area, you multiply the rectangle’s length by its width. If it comes out to be a decimal and you need to round it by the nearest tenth, then you round it to the right of the decimal point.

Ex: 2.34 -> 2.3

Then, to find how much square inches are equal to square ft, you divide the square inches by 12, I believe.
