Answer:

The 13 Colonies

Explanation:

King James I noticed that the colonies were a great source of income to the UK, with that he started taxing them.

First, in 1651 he issued the Navigation Acts that regulated colonial trade and made able England collect taxes in the colonies. Next, he imposed the Tariff of 1661, that imposed taxes on the importation of goods from other countries.

In 1673 the Plantation Duty Act made the plantations trade exclusively with England, it also taxed tobacco.

After a series of taxes King James I imposed to the 13 colonies, the colonies started the motto “no taxation without representation”, they sought representation before they were taxed.

What had the war created for women that made it hard for them to settle back into the roles of motherhood following the war?
mr Goodwill [35]
World War II had made it hard for women to settle back into their roles of motherhood because they had started to work jobs. Women also had to take over and act as the fatherly figure because the men were fighting in the war. After the war, most women did not get to keep their jobs, and was odd for them to only play the role of the mother in families.

Your answer is: Jobs, becoming the head of the household
