  • They unite individuals to accomplish 'control of the government', create policies positive to their 'interests' or the 'groups' that help them, and sort out and convince voters for electing their 'candidates' to office.
  • Even though they are especially engaged with the activity of government at all levels, political parties are not simply the whole government, and the Constitution does not even mention them.
