Jamie put 8 squares together to make a rectangle. There are 2 rows of squares. Each row has 4 squares. How many pairs of sides touch each other in the rectangle?

2! Because there is 8 in total and when u split it up equally you get 4 and when u put 4 and 4 together it has two rows together!

There would be 4 squares touching because if there are 2 rows of four squares to make the rectangle then the sides touching each other would equal 4.
