Not correct. She could have been using references to anything. Not all her references are from literature. Southern Bitter Wormwood is a reference to the wormwood plant which is medicinal in nature and it is very bitter.

Maybe. But there's a better answer. It's not her personality we are drawn to although it is quite bubbly if this passage is any kind of indication. It is the joy she takes in recognizing that Beowulf likes a good drink and he  wanted her to join him and she was delighted by the invitation.

The mind map method is made of five parts: a box, arrows, circles, stars, and free-floaters. The box is the place where you write the main topic. The arrows connect the box with other parts of the mind map and show the relationship between ideas. The circles are where you write subordinate ideas of the main idea. The stars serve the same function as circles except they are starred because the information contained within them is especially important. Free-floaters are circles or stars that are not connected to the main idea. They are important ideas that seem to be off-topic. For me, I feel that I could use the mind map method as a way to organize each chapter of Gulliver’s Travels.

Although many scholars have recognized those merits, there are surprisingly few sustained studies of the stylistic artistry of the Declaration.1 This essay seeks to illuminate that artistry by probing the discourse microscopically--at the level of the sentence, phrase, word, and syllable. By approaching the Declaration in this way, we can shed light both on its literary qualities and on its rhetorical power as a work designed to convince a "candid world" that the American colonies were justified in seeking to establish themselves as an independent nation.2

The text of the Declaration can be divided into five sections--the introduction, the preamble, the indictment of George III, the denunciation of the British people, and the conclusion. Because space does not permit us to explicate each section in full detail, we shall select features from each that illustrate the stylistic artistry of the Declaration as a whole.3

The introduction consists of the first paragraph--a single, lengthy, periodic sentence:
