Answer:

Soils are the key ingredient for the plants and crops to grow. A large amount of soil is eroded every year due to the practice of farming. This is about 25 billion tons of soils.

Due to the various type of agricultural practices, the topsoil comprising the valuable minerals are continuously eroded by factors such as wind and water. This results in the increasing loss of soil fertility, and also it can lead to the occurrence of droughts, sandstorms, and dust bowls.

Dust bowls are the region where there occurs no rainfall and absence of vegetation, and soils are eroded drastically making a sandy dust environment, and affecting the ecosystem.

In order to prevent these effects, certain steps must be taken, and they are as follows-

  • Planting more trees and crops so that the wind cannot cause much impact on the area.
  • The waste vegetative particles and matters must be allowed to distribute evenly over the surface of these areas, so that wind cannot easily transport these sediments.
  • Mulching of the soil must be done.
  • By constructing the retaining walls.

  • Since the clam is made up primarily of coral fragments its possible that the corals might have buried under the landmass when the upliftment was completed.
  • The skeletal remains of the coral polyps that are now stratified in the rocks are suggestive of reef formation around the landmass earlier period and these were mostly found in tropical oceans.

Which two ancient civilizations practiced human sacrifice
Alex777 [14]
Maya and Inca but Aztec could be in there too

Explanation:

The Incas performed child sacrifices during or after important events, such as the death of the Sapa Inca (emperor) or during a famine

Generally only high status prisoners of war were sacrificed, with lower status captives being used for labour. Human sacrifice among the Maya is evident from at least the Classic period (c. AD 250–900) right through to the final stages of the Spanish conquest in the 17th century.

In addition to slicing out the hearts of victims and spilling their blood on temple altars, the Aztecs likely also practiced a form of ritual cannibalism. An Atztec human sacrifice atop the Mesoamerican temple pyramid.
