History

The Reformation began in Germany in 1517 because an Augustinian monk named Martin Luther, who lived in Germany, wrote "95 Theses" protesting the Pope's selling indulgences. ... Because Luther was very outspoken about his feelings, the Reformation started in Germany and spread.

The reason why Germany is considered the center is because of the fact that the main man who started the reformation, Martin Luther, lived as a priest at the Catholic Church here. It is also here where the first steps toward the reformation were taken, as Luther wrote and posted the ninety-five theses on the front door of the Catholic Church protesting against the Church's corruptness.<span />

What was the truman doctrine and what was the cause of its creation?
Greeley [361]

Answer:

The Truman Doctrine is the principle of the U.S. that they should give support to people and countries that were threatened by the Communist insurrection of Soviet Forces. Truman Doctrine was first expressed in 1947 by President Truman during a speech to Congress seeking aid to Turkey and Greece. Truman Doctrine was seen by Communists as an open declaration of the Cold War.

The reason for the speech was a recent announcement by the British Government that on March 31, it would no longer provide economic and military assistance to the Greek Government in its Civil War against Greek Communist Party.
