To overall get darker you should lay on your back from at least 20-30 min then flip to your stomach and do the same for 20-30 min.

More than 3+ hours in the sun can  run the risk of it giving you a 1st-degree burn, otherwise known as a sunburn.

If you play sports, take advisory to the temperatures of that day. Bring plenty of sunscreen and water!
