G(x)=x-4 Can you evaluate this problem if so how?

You cannot evaluate for (g o f)(0). You will get an undefined answer.

(g o f)(x) tells you to plug in the f(x) function for the x-variable in the g(x) equation; so it would be like saying g(f(x)). This would result in (g o f)(x) = (1/x) - 4. Now plug in 0, (g o f)(0) = 1/0 - 4. One cannot divide by zero in order to simplify the equation and get an answer... unless an undefined answer counts, which I'm pretty sure it doesn't.

The perimeter of a rectangle is 42 cm and the area is 80 cm². Write an equation to model the situation and find the dimensions o
mafiozo [28]

Answer:

16cm by 5cm

Step-by-step explanation:

P=2(l+w)

A= wl

80 factorization: 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 10, 16, 20, 40, 80.

you then would have to find 2 numbers that would add up to make 42.

When you try 16*2+5*2= 32+10= 42 cm as your perimeter.

16*5= 80 cm^2 as your area.

A tank contains 10 liters of pure water. Saline solution with a variable concentration 5 grams of salt per liter is pumped into
algol [13]

Answer:

dQ(t)/dt = 20 - 2Q(t)/5 , Q(0) = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

The mass flow rate dQ(t)/dt = mass flowing in - mass flowing out

Since 5 g/L of salt is pumped in at a rate of 4 L/min, the mass flow in is thus 5 g/L × 4 L/min = 20 g/min.

Let Q(t) be the mass present at any time, t. The concentration at any time ,t is thus Q(t)/volume = Q(t)/10. Since water drains at a rate of 4 L/min, the mass flow out is thus, Q(t)/10 g/L × 4 L/min = 2Q(t)/5 g/min.

So, dQ(t)/dt = mass flowing in - mass flowing out

dQ(t)/dt = 20 g/min - 2Q(t)/5 g/min

Since the salt just begins to be pumped in, the initial mass of salt in the tank is zero. So Q(0) = 0

So, the initial value problem is thus

dQ(t)/dt = 20 - 2Q(t)/5 , Q(0) = 0

Emilio bought 5.65 of green grapes and 3.07 pounds of red grapes
NISA [10]

The weight of each bag is 0.545 lb .

What is weight ?

Weight in maths is the value of the mass of an object on a measuring scale , It is measured in pound , ounce , kilogram etc.

It is given that

Total weight of green grapes = 5.65 lb

Total weight of red grapes = 3.07lb

Total weight = 5.65 +3.07 = 8.72 lb

Total number of bags = 16

the weight of each bag

= 8.72 / 16

= 0.545 lb

Therefore the weight of each bag is 0.545 lb .

The complete question is

Emilio bought 5.65lb of green grapes and 3.07lb of red grapes. He divided the grapes equally into 16 bags. If each bag of grapes has the same weight, how much does each bag weigh?
