Answer:

I chose Workers right to join a union:

Introduction: Eugene Debs should be elected for President, because he believes that everyone should be treated equally and he has the knowledge enabling him to make progress towards that goal. Not only does he favor women's suffrage, and their right to vote, as well as restricting child labor and protecting your children from harm, he supports workers rights and allowing them to join a union.

Body: Eugene Debs is a socialist that will fight for you and what you need. Companies are becoming greedy and management wants all the money for themselves, and they profit over your hard work and putting yourself in danger. Workers are not paid enough for the tremendous amount of work they have to do and in such harsh conditions as well. With Debs as Presidents, workers will be free to join Unions and not have to worry about getting fired or blacklisted while fighting for their rights.

Conclusion: The ability to join a union means that these workers will now have the power to strike and negotiate. Through this process workers will have the power to demand better pay or shorter hours from their employers, and doing so would be taking a step towards closing the large economic gap in America. Do you want to be free? Do you not want the power to work towards the American dream? Becoming wealthy is not always going to come so easily, and simply having the determination to "work hard" will not work out for everyone. Sometimes you must take the initiative, you must vote for Eugene Debs and support the socialist party, and make those big corporations taking your money and pride pay for their misdeeds, and actually start making money of your own.

Explanation:

I kinda went all out, sorry if its too long to read :)

Checklist:

"two points from your outline, a discussion of how socialist beliefs could help your audience, an introduction that creates interest, a conclusion that ends the speech on a positive, crowd-appealing note, at least three paragraphs"

Helios threatened to not shine anymore.

Technically Helios threatened to only shine in Hades, among the dead. However, this is the most similar to what happened in the legend. Therefore it is most likely the correct answer.

What is america's identity and how has it changed over time?
zmey [24]

Many people point to the American Creed as the core of American identity. Huntington defines the American Creed as embodying the "principles of liberty, equality, individualism, representative government, and private property".

According to Buford’s study, 73 percent of Nigerian and Ghanaian immigrants had African Americans in their social networks, including colleagues, neighbors, significant others and acquaintances in volunteer organizations. Forty-nine percent of those surveyed had white Americans in their social networks.

rosijanka [135]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached we can say the following.

One global process or series of events in the period 1450–1750 CE that would facilitate cross-cultural exchange could be the Columbian Exchange of those years.

Cristopher Columbus discovered America on October 12, 1492, when he and his sailors arrived at the islands in the Caribbean. Spanish King Ferdinand de Aragon and Queen Isabella de Castille had sponsored the trip of Columbus because they wanted to explore new routes to the Indies and get more richness for the Spanish Kingdom. Columbus' sailors were ambitious and also wanted a piece of the pie and aspire to get some precious metals such as gold, as part of the adventure.

After the discovery of the Americas and the conquest of the most important Mesoamerican civilizations, South American civilizations, and the founding of the North American colonies such as Jamestown, Virginia, the Columbian exchange was the series of trade and exchanges between America and Europe.

Through the Columbian Exchange, nations and their colonies traded raw materials, natural resources, goods, people, culture, and diseases.
