The correct answer is C) Gerald Ford.

The president that was criticized for pardoning Nixon was Gerald Ford.

After Richard Nixon resigned due to the Watergate Scandal, and avoid impeachment by the US Congress, Gerald Ford became the 38th President of the United States. His administration started in August 1974. At that moment, many citizens thought that Ford would exert an exemplary punishment against Nixon for all the things he did, but that was not the case. Gerald Ford pardoned Nixon for all the crimes committed. Some analysts considered that the pardon was part of the negotiations to get Ford the Presidency.

Why is control of Kashmir disputed? Why do you think this conflict has lasted for more than 50 years?
hodyreva [135]

Mainly it is due to a piece of dirt, and a territorial dispute. India and Pakistan freed themselves from Britain in 1947, and the Indian Independence Act gave Kashmir the opportunity to freely choose which ever country they wanted to accede or join with, whether it be India or Pakistan. The leader of Kashmir chose India, resulting in a two-year war and also resulting in both countries being nuclear armed. It is pure ego and a fight for money and power.
