If we do not teach this to future generations so they do not repeat history and relive these events. Slavery taught many people that the world works better when we work together. When World War 2 came around the army let people of color fight too not just white men.

On top of that the French soldiers were fighting Yellow fever which was lowering the French army numbers. Therefore Napoleon had to do the Louisiana purchase and sell it for only 15 million to supply more soldiers.
