There were many factors that formed this civilization like the geography of Japan which is surrounded by the four islands and these are covered by mountains having high dense forests, and receive rainfall which help in taking up agriculture.

The scenic beauty also adds up to civilization. It's good relations with other countries helps to bring cultural diversity and development in trade also shaped up the civilization.
