Answer:

A. Temple platform.

Explanation:

Ziggurat at Ur was multilevel place of worship, it had steps all around it. Such buildings were located at the centre of Mesopotamian cities after 200 BC. They were extraordinary structures made of sun-dried mud bricks.

Although they looked sturdy but the sun baked bricks made them delicate, they had to be rebuilt after every hundred years. The rains softened the bricks and the lower section often gave way due to soft bricks.

Their design was such that they could easily drain water. It also had layers of bitumen, grass-like plants. A waterproof tar was also laid between the mud bricks to protect it from water.

4) D. the trade of metal tools for food.
The english had a hard time trying to feed themselves and survive in the 'harsh' environment, especially during the winter. They soon ended up trading metal equipment and fixing tools for the Indians in trade of food. Because of this interaction, they soon had a bond, and they helped each other sometimes in their time of need

5) A. rarely married each other.
The English, unlike the Spaniards that intermarried, rarely married with the Indians (this does not mean they don't, its just rare. The English settlers tried to recreate Britain, and tried not to have as much to do with the Indian tribes as they would like. They also, unlike the French, tried to settle and populate the area with their own people.

Much of the First Amendment to the Constitution like Freedom of Speech and Religion was first thought of by who?
Tju [1.3M]

Answer:

Voltaire

Explanation:

Voltaire was a great defender of individual citizens' freedom. He believed that it was wrong for the state to impose its objectives above the will and choice of citizens, in addition to believing that every citizen had the right to disagree and to complain about controversial actions by the government.

He also advocated tolerance among individuals towards each other's individual freedoms.

These ideas made Voltaire the first to defend religious freedom and freedom of expression, provided as a political and individual freedom. This influenced the creation of the first constitutional amendment.
