equations that are parallel to each other have the same gradient/slope, the gradient of the eqn is 2

make all the eqns y=mx+c

so B becomes y=-2x+7

C is y=2x+2

D=y=-2x+9

since C has a gradient of two and the others are all -2 C is the answer

In the accompanying diagram of the parallelogram ABCD, AB is extended to E such that CB is congruent to CE. If m< ADC = 100,
SSSSS [86.1K]

Answer:

CDE = 10

Step-by-step explanation:

in parallelogram, adjacent angle are supplementary.

A+ B = 180

100 + B = 180

B = 180 - 100

B = 18

E ≅ B

E = 80

EC⊥ DC

DCE = 90

in ΔDCE,

DCE + CED + CDE= 180 {Angle sum property of triangle}

90 + 80 + CDE = 180

170 + CDE = 180

CDE = 180 - 170

CDE = 10

Hope this helps! :)

Allen's monthly take-home pay is $3000, and his monthly rent is $750. If both his monthly take-home pay and his rent increase by
9966 [12]
Well, if they both increase by 200 each, that means his take-home pay is 3200 and his rent is 950

ok... if we take 3200 as the 100%, what is 950 in percentage of it?

\bf \begin{array}{ccllll}
amount&\%\\
\text{\textemdash\textemdash\textemdash}&\text{\textemdash\textemdash\textemdash}\\
3200&100\\
950&x
\end{array}\implies \cfrac{3200}{950}=\cfrac{100}{x}

solve for "x".

Write 32 +24 as a product of two factors using the gcf and the distributive property
dlinn [17]

Answer:

4 * 14

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

32 + 24

Required

Write as a product of two factors

First, we need to get the GCF of 32 and 24

The factors of 32 and 24 are:

32 =  1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32.

24 = 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24

The GCF (greatest common factor) is 8

So, the expression 32 + 24 can be rewritten as:

32 + 24= 4(8 + 6)

Add 8 + 6

32 + 24= 4(14)

32 + 24= 4 * 14

Hence,

32 + 24 can be rewritten as 4 * 14
