Answer:Sample Response: To find the perimeter, you can set up a proportion with two dimensions from the original triangle and the two dimensions from the reduced triangle, one known and one unknown. You solve for the missing sides and then add the measurements to find the new perimeter.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

If two similar triangles have a scale factor of a : b, then the ratio of their perimeters is a : b

(.perimeter ABC) /( perimeter DEF) =    (AB)/(DE)

Example:Triangle(ABC) with perimeter  24 . Find new triangle (DEF) using proportion 9/6

24/perim DEF = 6/9

Cross multiplication

(24*9) = 6*( perimeter of DEF)

216 = 6*(perimeter of DEF

Divide both sides by 6

36 = DEF

Triangule with perimeter 24 (find new perimeter)

The perimeter of the new triangle using proportion  6/9 is  36

What is the total price for the four items including sales tax?
Mumz [18]

Answer:

$1165.73

Step-by-step explanation:

We have 395.95+159.95+750+129.95=1435.85. Once we have this, we add the student discount of -25%. This rounds to 358.96. We subtract this from the total and get 1076.89. After the student discount, we add the sales tax of 8.25%. This adds a total of 88.84 to the final amount. After adding this we get a final total of $1165.73

John buys a computer with a 20% discount. If he paid $760 for the computer, how much was the discount?
Mumz [18]
If there was 20% taken off you add 20% back on and that is how you will get your answer. So take 760 plus the 20% which gives you 912 dollars

Does anyone know the answers to this algebra question? Will give brainiest
MaRussiya [10]
Option 1 : -22

using formula

(a + b )(a - b ) = a^2 - b^2

(√10 + 2√8) (√10 - 2√8)

= (√10)^2 - (2√8)^2

= 10 - 2×2×8=10-32

= -22
