The slope is 1 so you must start the graph from y intercept -3 so mark point at -3 of y intercept and then go up one and move one to right. Then you will get your graph.

As you can see the slope isn't always visible. This equation could also be written as seen below.
y=1x-3
As you can see, x is the same as 1x, so therefore
the slope is 1
.
