The quotient of some number and 10 would be expressed as z/10.
Just out the quantity that gets said first on top of the second one.

To show five times a quantity, just multiply 5 to it.

So, the answer is 5(z/10)

Hope this helps!

What is the equation of the line that passes through the points (-2, 1) and (6, 3)?
earnstyle [38]

Answer:

y = \frac{1}{4} x + \frac{3}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

the equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

calculate m using the slope formula

m = \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}  }{x_{2}-x_{1}  }

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (- 2, 1 ) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (6, 3 )

m = \frac{3-1}{6-(-2)} = \frac{2}{6+2} = \frac{2}{8} = \frac{1}{4} , then

y = \frac{1}{4} x + c ← is the partial equation

to find c substitute either of the 2 points into the partial equation

using (6, 3 ) , then

3 = \frac{3}{2} + c ⇒ c = 3 - \frac{3}{2} = \frac{3}{2}

y = \frac{1}{4} x + \frac{3}{2} ← equation of line

Here is a distribution of 6 observations sorted in ascending order the mean of this distribution is 13. Question pictured below.
posledela
From the mean of 13,
the value of the stated summation will be given by:
(5.7-13)+(10.2-13)+(11.9-13)+(13.3-13)+(17.6-13)+(19.3-13)
=-7.3+(-2.8)+(-1.1)+0.3+4.6+6.3
=0
Hence the summation indicated also known as mean absolute deviation is 0.

A recursive rule for an arithmetic sequence is a₁=4;a_n=a_(n−1)−3 .
steposvetlana [31]

The explicit formula of the arithmetic sequence:

a_n=a_1+(n-1)d

d - common difference

We have the recursive formula of an arithmetic sequence:

\left\{\begin{array}{ccc}a_1=4\\a_n=a_{n-1}-3\end{array}\right

Therefore we have:

a_1=4,\ d=-3

Substitute:

a_n=4+(n-1)(-3)=4-3n+3=7-3n

<h3>Answer: aₙ = 7 - 3n</h3>
