How do rates help you describe real life problem? Give two example

History

A rate allows us to compare two numbers or measurements and give them a value. This helps us in real life to make everyday activities simpler. For example: you have to take a photocopy as quickly as possible and you have two photocopiers. The first draws 10 copies per minute and the second only 5 copies per minute. Using the rates you can know that the first option in better because you will have the double of copies in the same time.  Another example is a place where you get 2 pizzas for $10 and another where you get 1 for $8. The rates help you to know that in the first place they give you 1 pizza for $5 (10÷2=5) so it is a cheaper option.

<span>Based on the global stratification model, nations of the former soviet union and its former satellites in eastern Europe are classified as the Industrializing nations.
They are definitely not Third World countries - those are the poorest nations in the world, most of which are found in Africa. They are also not the least industrializing nations, because they are quite industrialized, but not as much as the most industrializing nations either.

(I am having trouble understanding what this question is asking)
bagirrra123 [75]

Both Andrew Carnegie Mellon and Henry Clay Frick were industrialists and business partners. Carnegie produced steel and Frick manufactured coke (necessary to produce steel). Frick eventually became chairman of Carnegie's company, but Carnegie made several attempts to force him to renounce to his position and disregarded him, and his opinions, on numerous occasions. This is, therefore, an example of the tensions that the industrialization of the U.S. entailed (there were companies that merged with, or sometimes bought, other companies; companies that used black workers and convicts as labor; companies whose workers went on strike; and hostility towards the wealthy industrialists as well as between them).

Option B. Judicial review

Arizona. “Before questioning, the person should be warned that they have the right to remain silent, that their statements may be used as evidence, and that they have the right to have a commissioned or appointed attorney present.

The Supreme Court ruled in Miranda's side, and the police officer told the suspect during questioning, "He has the right to remain silent and what he says will be used against him in court." There is a possibility, and he has the right to do so."

In the landmark case of Miranda v. Arizona (1966), the Supreme Court ruled that if police do not notify the individual, they will do so with respect to certain individuals arrested in the United States. Their confessions cannot be used as evidence in court, in accordance with constitutional rights, including the Fifth Amendment against self-incrimination. .

What is the harsh effects of imperialism for natives?
Mrrafil [7]

Answer: Imperialism impacted societies in countless negative ways. It led to slave trade which then led to social discrimination around the world. It also damaged the cultures and created disunity among the natives. Last but not least, imperialism stripped countries off their natural resources and left nothing for the natives.

Hope this help !
