Medical education in the United States has focused almost exclusively on curative medicine, while preventive care has been given
gulaghasi [49]

The statement that strengthens the argument is that many contagious disease can be prevented with vaccines

Explanation:

Once the person is infected the measure must be taken properly to treat the person, isolate them and give them the necessary vaccination and more knowledge must be given to people on the preventive measures

Vaccination is the best method that prevents the disease from being spread and hence proper vaccination must be ensured to the infected person and so this statement is true compared to the other statements

What should you do if a person is choking, but is still able to speak or breathe?
xeze [42]
First off you should take them to the nearest hospital. If they are still talking and breathing well this means that the food or whatever is lodged in their esophagus. From what I've learned do not do the hiemlich maneuver because that can make it worse. This actually happened to my brother last week and he is now fine. I hope this helped you!

Define maslow's hierarchy of needs and give the 5 classifications
blagie [28]

Answer:

The five basic needs built into our genetic structure have been identified as survival, belonging, power, freedom, and fun (Glasser, 1998).

Explanation:

Maslow's hierarchy of needs is a theory of motivation which states that five categories of human needs dictate an individual's behavior. Those needs are physiological needs, safety needs, love and belonging needs, esteem needs, and self-actualization needs.
