Please can someone help?
Alina [70]

Step-by-step explanation:

R = 6.5cm and r = 2.3 cm

area of the shaded region = area of the outer circle - area of the inner circle

= πR²-πr²

=π(R²-r²)

=π{(6.5)²-(2.3)²}

=π (42.25-5.29)

= 3.14× 36.96

= 115.866

= 116 cm²

State whether the slope of the line is positive, negative, zero, or undefined.
Rudiy27

The slope of the line is equal to \tan \alpha, where angle \alpha is angle of line incline to the positive x-direction.

  • When \alpha is acute, then slope is positive;
  • When \alpha is obtuse, then slope is negative;
  • When \alpha is right, then slope is undefined;
  • When \alpha is zero, then slope is equal to 0.

In your case angle of inclination is obtuse and slope is negative.

Answer: correct choice is B
