There are several measurement errors that frequently occur in crime strategy meetings. Primary among them is the lack of linkage between measurement and strategy. This includes using aggregate UCR offense categories rather than actionable subgroups, measuring all arrests rather than only those officer initated, the inability to link arrests to specific assignments and/or units, an inability to measure field interviews and/or to link specific assignments and/or units and an inability to track the utility of intelligence information. Additional errors include a rigid adherence to format- format driving strategy rather than vice versa meaningless statistical review- too many trend statistics GIS maps that are a blur of dots and once again lack of specificity- including a standardized response to every crime problem " lets increase patrol ".

shepuryov [24]

Answer:

D. reductionism

Explanation:

Reductionism is the philosophical position characterized by the thesis that the properties of the whole can be reduced to the properties of its parts, thus reducing the number of elements in a theory or conclusion and can be applied to phenomena, theories, meanings, objects and even explanations. It is a metaphysical position that consists in the hypothesis that reality is composed of a minimum number of types of entities or substances. An example of this was the case of Henry Handsome who, because of the emergence of a European bank, interpreted that it would be beneficial for his wealthy friends to sell his shares. Henry believed that a whole could be reduced to its parts.

why does constant view the liberty of the ancients as unworkable and even oppressive in modern europe?
elena55 [62]

According to Benjamin Constant, Liberty of the ancient required a long time and great effort to realize the involvement of the people in the political system.

<h3>Who is Benjamin Constant?</h3>

Benjamin Constant is a Swiss-French political activist and writer on politics and religion. He wrote a psychological-biographical novel called Adolphe. He is a loud liberal figure.

Benjamin Constant tries to replace <em>"Liberty of the Ancients"</em> with <em>"Liberty of the Moderns"</em>. The Liberty of the Ancients is a free, participatory republic, which gives citizens the right to directly influence politics through debate and voting in public meetings. In order to support the level of citizen participation, it takes a long time and considerable effort. He wants people to easily gather in one place to discuss public affairs.

The Liberty of the Moderns, on the other hand, is based on the possession of civil liberties, the rule of law, and freedom from excessive state interference.

According to Constant, a modern state can be seen from the unlimited direct participation. The modern state can also be seen from its commercial society and no slaves. But everyone has to earn a living through work. In the political field, citizens will elect representatives, who will negotiate in Parliament on behalf of the people and will save citizens from having to be involved in everyday politics.
